With today’s radiation treatment, I have officially passed the halfway point with therapy. Three chemo and fourteen radiation treatments down, those same numbers left to conquer. If all goes as planned, my last chemo appointment will take place on December 30th. Quite the way to end this year and ring in the new!

I’ve learned so much along the way – not only about myself but about others. Highs and lows have graced the path on my journey and I expect nothing but the same out of the next three months.

And through it all, choosing to not make excuses has served me far more than the alternative. Progress can be measured and the end, thankfully, is in sight.
