I’ve lost my hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, muscles, sleep, three organs, time, the expectation to live a long life…and a piece of me.
I’ve battled fatigue, joint pain, numbness, irritability, bowel issues, doctors, nurses, appointments, needles…and myself.
I’ve gained hot flashes, five scars, three wigs, ten hats, fourteen bandanas, four sharpie X’s, a few pounds and a sisterhood with one heck of an initiation.
But through it all I’ve discovered my #beautifulstrength within, the light that shines in the darkness, the power of the mind and what matters most…my loved ones.
And at the end of each day, the only questions I now ask myself are these…
Did I love enough?
Did I laugh enough?
Did I make a difference?
PS – I love Gia, she definitely makes me laugh and hopefully I’m making a difference with her.
