Saving hair…saving dignity…saving sanity…

But did it save me?

We did it! We managed to save the hair regrowth that took place during the seven weeks of radiation therapy.

Ice cream cone headaches and a few snafus aside, the Hair Science System did what it was created to do. I must admit, skepticism was prevalent. However, as with anything, you will never know until you try.

Was it uncomfortable? Yes! But no more than the needles and toxicity dripping in me.

If I had to do all over would I do it again? The jury is out.

“Why?” you might ask.

Because there was and is something so freeing about being bald. Vulnerable and completely visible, my true self was revealed – not only to many but to myself. The Hair Science System might have saved my hair but my baldness saved me.
