Day 156 // Grace Wins Every Time
Everything is as it should be. Grace wins.
Everything is as it should be. Grace wins.
Tuesday night, 9PM -
Gia: "Mommy, I just want your chemo to be over."
Me: "Me too, baby...me too..."
'Twas the night before chemo, when all through the house,
None of our dogs were stirring, maybe if they saw a mouse.
Two weeks from today my post-chemo CT scan is scheduled. While the results will not be immediate, we will know within days if the past five months of treatment was a success.
Traditions were abundant around the holidays growing up. Oh, do I so miss them.
So no one ever told me there would be a sequel to this journey...until yesterday.
Look at stress an an opportunity to be more, do more, live more!
"My battle has not defined me, destroyed me nor defeated me; it has only strengthened me."
A professor stood before her philosophy class with some items placed in front of her. When the class began, she wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mason jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
The hustle and bustle of holiday traffic was at an all time high today as I ventured towards the Kenwood Towne Center. Bumper to bumper, surprisingly I was patient heading to pick up more of my "fountain of youth" water.
